WELCOME PACKET

Recently moved to the Norfolk area?

Searching for resources or ways to get connected to the community of Norfolk? Or are you an employer, looking to help your new or prospective hires discover more about living and working in Norfolk? Whether you just moved to the area, are a local employer, or relocating your family to Norfolk, our welcome packets are a great resource!

The Chamber’s welcome packets are an all-in-one resource for anyone to use when making Norfolk their new home or place to do business. As a Chamber of Commerce, we are here to support our members, but also to better connect our members with the community they do business in. These welcome packets offer information for new residents, but also provide our members with an opportunity to introduce themselves to the public.

In these packets, you’ll find Norfolk Now magazines, information on the Norfolk Chamber, a Community Packet, a Chamber Member Coupon Page, a Visitors Guide from the Norfolk Area Visitors Bureau, the latest All About Norfolk issue published by the Norfolk Daily News, plus more materials included for your convenience.

These welcome packets have been delivered to some of the community’s largest employers. However, all Chamber member businesses are encouraged to participate in this effort of welcoming new members to our community. If you would like welcome bags delivered to your office or if you are new to town and want to pick some up, please contact the Chamber. Packets are only distributed upon request by either a business or resident, so please contact us to receive these welcome packets.

This project was created to accommodate new members of our community as well as provide an all-in-one resource for current members of our community to use. This project not only benefits new and established community members, but it also provides an opportunity for our Chamber members to showcase the services they have to offer.

Coupon Page- Members can participate in this project by supplying the Chamber with a digital advertisement/coupon to be used in the Chamber Member Coupon Page. This is a continuous effort that is updated as more advertisements are submitted.
