For more than three decades, Leadership Norfolk has been at the forefront of developing leaders who drive positive change and transformation in our community.
About Leadership Norfolk: Leadership Norfolk is a unique, immersive 9-month program designed to develop world-class leadership skills by deeply engaging participants with the Norfolk business environment. Starting in October, participants meet once a month for full-day sessions that include meals. These sessions feature renowned speakers and exclusive tours of some of the largest companies in Northeast Nebraska.
Key Components of the Program:
- Leadership Skills Development: Participants will enhance their abilities in teamwork, communication, and negotiation through hands-on experiences and expert-led sessions.
- Comprehensive Learning: The program offers a behind-the-scenes look at critical sectors such as economic development and philanthropy, providing a broad understanding of the forces that shape our community.

Applications are Now Closed
- Open to participants who live or work in the Norfolk Area
- Up to 15 community leaders are accepted per year
- Member tuition: $595
- Non-member tuition: $695
- Program runs from October – June with monthly classes from 8:00 – 4:30 p.m.
- Each class will have the opportunity to develop and execute a project for the benefit of the Norfolk Area.

This is a real-world platform to hear from, and learn about how community leaders tackle and resolve issues, and prepare for the future. By myself I would not have been able to tour some of the excellent companies in Norfolk. I am grateful to have seen first hand how they operate. Upon completion you will have a significantly better feel for the needs, goals, and direction of the Norfolk Area Community. It will indeed make you a better leader.
