Northeast Nebraska Ag Banquet

Members of the Agri-Business Council of the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, celebrate northeast Nebraska’s #1 industry at their annual Northeast Nebraska Ag Banquet each June.

This event honors area producers and ag-related businesses from Madison, Antelope, Wayne, Pierce, Stanton, Boone, and northern Platte counties for their vital contributions to the economic strength of our communities. The banquet highlights the strong connection between agriculture and business while providing a meaningful opportunity for recognition, networking, and celebration.

Open to the public, the evening includes a social hour, dinner, and a keynote speaker.

Supporting the Next Generation of Agriculture

A primary focus of the Northeast Nebraska Ag Banquet is supporting continued education in agri-business. Over the past nine years, the Agri-Business Council has awarded $41,750 to 51 very deserving students pursuing agriculture-related education.

During the banquet, selected students will be presented with the 2026 Northeast Nebraska Ag Community Scholarships, and additional scholarship recognitions will take place. The Council is committed to growing this event in order to expand both the number and dollar amount of scholarships awarded each year.

  • Ag Business of the Year

Recipients are selected from community nominations and recognized for their leadership, innovation, and impact on Northeast Nebraska agriculture.

Businesses and individuals are invited to support the Northeast Nebraska Ag Banquet through event sponsorships. Sponsorships help fund scholarships, recognition awards, and the continued celebration of agriculture in our region.
